Kids Birthday Party

My son’s 1st birthday is in a couple of weeks. I can’t believe my baby boy is already turning 1, where did the year go?! I’m sorting out what to do for the goody bags. I have some ideas, but since there are 30 kids attending his birthday party, cost is a factor. As a kid, I remember getting goody bags filled with candy and the proverbial party toys. Nowadays it seems as though the gift bag has become a more important part of a child’s birthday party. I took an informal poll and asked some people: What do you think is an appropriate amount to spend per bag? How would you feel if you attended a party and the host skipped on having gift bags?
