Imagine our excitement when the managing editor of Latina magazine reached out to us to be featured in the magazine! What an honor to be a part of a publication that broke ground for Latinas!! You can find us in "Punto", the closing page, of the November issue.

It’s always great to start the New Year off on a positive note! Strickly Chicks was created in that spirit. Strickly Chicks is a new blog site that was launched to showcase and promote women owned businesses. The site showcases one “Fab Chick” every day by presenting a personal bio of the owner and a description of the business. Kudos and thanks to the founder of Strickly Chicks for providing us with such a wonderful platform! Kiki’s Corner is thrilled and honored to have been featured on the site. Check it out: http://stricklychicks.com/?p=731 |

I recently had the pleasure of attending the Latinos In Social Media (LaTISM) conference in New York City. LatISM is an organization comprised of Latino leaders in the areas of Marketing, Public Relations, Blogs, Twitter, and every other social media imaginable. This group was talented, smart, and passionate. How inspiring they were and how proud I felt of my fellow Latinos! They were generous with their time and thoughts, and interacting with them re-sparked the flame within me.
